Planting & Care

2. Watering: Water regularly during the first growing season while roots establish. Once established, water when the top few inches of soil feel dry; avoid consistently soggy conditions.

3. Pruning: Prune in early spring to remove damaged growth and maintain a compact shape. Light trimming during the growing season can encourage branching and additional blooms.

4. Fertilizing: Apply a balanced, slow-release fertilizer in spring. Avoid overfertilizing, which may produce more foliage at the expense of flowers.
