Planting & Care

1. Planting: Plant or repot within 4 weeks of arrival. Choose a site with bright light, well-draining soil, and protection from strong winds. In hot climates, morning sun with light afternoon shade is ideal. Use a container with drainage holes when growing it indoors or on a patio.

2. Watering: Water when the top inch of soil feels dry. Keep the soil lightly and consistently moist, but never waterlogged. Reduce watering during cooler months when growth slows.

3. Pruning: Prune lightly in spring or summer to maintain the desired size and encourage fuller growth. Remove damaged or bare stems as needed, and wear gloves because the sap may irritate skin.

4. Fertilizing: Apply a balanced, slow-release fertilizer in spring and again in midsummer. Container-grown plants can be fed monthly with a diluted balanced fertilizer during active growth.
